Antonio Santi Giuseppe Meucci, (born 13 April 1808 - died October 18, 1889 at the age of 81 years) was an Italian nationals which inventor is the discovery of modern communication tools that are needed by today's society to the social life of the phone. Generally, the inventor of a more known to the public telephone is Alexander Graham Bell, but it seems history is to be rewritten because it is an immigrant from the Firenze (Florence), Italy named Antonio Meucci had invented the telephone in 1849 and patented his creation in 1871.


Antonio Meucci was born in San Frediano, near the city of Florence in the year 1808. He is a graduate of Florence Academy of Art, then worked at the Teatro della pergola until the year 1835, and later offered a job at the Teatro Tacon in Havana, Cuba and immigrated there with his wife. After recovering, Meucci worked hard day and night to re-create his creation tools. Meucci tried to demonstrate the potential of "speaking telegraph" this and bring the models and all the testimony on the vice chairman of Western Union telegraph company. In 1876, Alexander Graham Bell as the inventor bears the name of the phone. After Meucci know it, she called a lawyer to protest the United States Patent Office in Washington. After the feud between Alexander Graham Bell with the new Western Union revealed that Bell had approved paying the twenty percent of the commercial benefits of "discovery" during the 17 years to the Western Union.
